Mobile NEWS FEED - IBDW MobileWall - Support Forum

This is the support forum for the IBDW MobileWall. This module is designed for the Boonex Mobile Apps.So it's compatible with iPhone and Android OS.

Also it's needed Dolphin version 7.0.7 or next. So if you have a previous version, please upgrade your dolphin or not buy this module.

D7.0.7 is required because only from this version Boonex allows the 3d party module integration for the Mobile Apps.

 Yes, it's correct.

Some limitations are due to the Boonex Apps that have not Groups, Sites, Events, Ads, Polls.

So, currectly, the mobilewall allows to know that an action was made.

We hope D7.0.8, as promised by Boonex allows to add these features.

Anyway, now we have added with this update (1.0.1) the possibility to open the site when you click on the link. But we waiting to have the specific to open the link in the browser instead that in the application.

Dont worry, as you know, we'll add all the features allowed by the Boonex Mobile specification.

Released the version 1.0.2 with the update of the installation files for D7.0.8

Released IBDW MobileWall 1.0.3

This version use the last specification for the mobile 3d party integrations.

Now the thumb of the photo or of the video redirects directly to the photo or to the video (in the previous version this points to the gallery).

This new feature is available for D7.0.8 and for the Boonex Mobile Apps 1.5 (because Boonex added these specifications from these versions of the cms and of the apps).

For who have installed D7.0.7, into the file zip it's present also the previous version 1.0.2 of MobileWall.

Hello everyone!

Today, we have released the version 1.1.

This version solve the problem of the untranslated string "see more news".

Now you can use the language file to change this key.

In the file installation.txt included in the zip, you can see the instructions to update to this version (without uninstall from the previous version 1.0.3).

Also in the file zip you can see two file, one for D7.0.7 and one for D7.0.8

Today we have published the new version 1.1.1

This version fix the path for the installations in subfolders, allows the access to the web preview for the wall just to the administrator.

If you have already installed the version  1.1.0, you can only overwrite the files:

- mobilewallModule.php

- mqcondition.php

- urlsite.php

Could you please give us an update on when the Blog or Article updates will be available on the Mobile News feed?

The MobileNews feed support only some type of news. Not all news can be displayed because dont support the Boonex Spy system alert or are not in the default design of SpyWall (the similar mod for the www)

The last thing I have bought has been IBDW MobileWall, I would like to see the error it gives me, if I upload a picture and then delete, I get this error is not out anything because the image does not exist.

For who already installed the version 1.1.3

only needed to overwrite the file ibdw/mobilewall/classes/basecore.php

The current version must solve also your issue.

Released today the new version IBDW MobileWall 1.1.5

No important updates, just fix a small issue of db connection and fix the language files for who have not installed SpyWall.

Sorry I should have put this question in this section; why is it that comments by certain members are not visible after some time. Is this a time setting or are they actually deleted by the member? I know the admin has not deleted any of the messages. I thought the news feed comments. likes etc remain unless deleted.

OK I am confused and need some help....the video's in question are taken from YouTube and play on YouTube via iPads and iPhones via the spywall when called.  In the mobile AP the the  same video's give an html5 link but will not play the video.  It is not possible to render a YouTube link that is not yours but in this case they are owned by same person.  The videos render and plays if called outside the mobile AP with the link provided by YouTube inside the spywall and on ipads and iphones but won't play if called from the mobile app.  So please explain why this is happening and how to correct... I will be glad to provide you with the agent login to see it in the app so you too can see the issue... 

 Hi  I think u just missed my post. :). Its not Mobile spywal. Its mobile 1.5 bug.  Its fixed in 1.6.

Again above error version, but only in deleted comments before upgrading to 2.0

It is moving wall full of these errors.

Another error that has always had MobileWall, when a comment is very long and no spaces, the wall leaves the screen.

If you have not SpyWall, you can see the actions of dolphin but you can't use some features as "share" and "like" (see the market post description in details).

MobileWall is the mobile version of SpyWall (no compatibility with the boonex wall or other 3d party extensions). It works also without SpyWall but with a limitation of features as you can see in the description of this module

Not, we are already working on the new MobileEVOWall, compatible with EvoWall (and not with SpyWall).

You can get this new module for free if you have already bought MobileWall (so in the file zip you can see the classic mobilewall and the new mobileEvowall)

We hope to finish in the next week....

You can download the new file zip, where it's included the version for the EvoWall compatibility.

Before to install the MobileEVOwall, remember to uninstall the standard version (for SpyWall).

Before i buy this i have a query, i have the evo wall and would like to know what happens as the wall now integrates clubs etc do these posts show on the mobile version ? if so what happens when they click the links ?

I have bought alot of your modules and i cant seem to get a response from you on why evo mobile wall wont show any of the photos in the mobile edition

I also need alot more mods done!

The new modules added to Evo Wall are not still integrated on the Mobile version.

When we'll finish to add the new modules to Evo Wall (we have decided to add other modules) the mobilewall will be updated with the support of the new extensions.

There is a bug on the default function of the MobileApps under iPhone, the link for the photo works correctly under Android but not under iPhone.

Today we have released the MobileEvoWall for Dolphin 7.1

Having some trouble.

When i try and upload a photo to the wall from my android, I get an error 'unfortunately, Dolphin has stopped.'

It worked in the beginning, then started failing. I've tried uploading an image from the camera as well as the phones gallery.

Looks like it might be the Boonex mobile app. Same thing is happening when i try and upload a photo using the photo link. I uninmstalled and reinstalled the boonex app, no change...

I think (and hope) the new D7.1 Beta3 will be released soon.

The timing couldn't be worse. I am helping with the cleanup from Hurricane Sandy and would really like to be able to post photos from the work I'm doing. What is weird is it worked the first 3 or 4 times I did it, then it just started failing. I tried clearing all my cache but cannot get it to start working again.

Do you receive any error?
