How can I clip simple Tiny MCE instead your editor?
It would be nice to have f.ex. photos inside text, don't you think so. 

The mod uses the standard version of TinyMce editor that comes with Dolphin. You could utilize the services of a programmer to modify Dolphin's implementation of TinyMce.

In your Tutorials mod it is possible to Print the tutorial.
That would be a nice function to have on Articles to.

I think Invite is something that you have on other mods too but not in Ultimate Articles Actions. That could be a nice update too.

We have just bought and installed Ultimazte Articles, but it comes with English language only.

Since the translation file is far from small, I'd like to know if you eventually have a french translation file, even incomplete, it would certainly save us some time.

Great! If you already have Articles how do you see to that they stay when you do a patch upgrade?

There's a folder called Articles_files but it's not referenced in the patch installation read me.

The Articles will not be affected. The patches/version_2.1.3/readme.txt file has all the information needed to perform the upgrade. Anything not mentioned in the file is not needed.

Some improvements have been made. Re-upload the files and re-compile language for Articles.

A link was added to the Article page to display all Articles submitted by the author of that Article.

To get this addition, re-upload the files and re-compile language for Articles.

 hi..what new in 11 feb update. .also not able to download module ..don't know why..download option not working..

hi.having problem adding pics to the article..its saying "please enter atleast 20 keyword".

but keyword length is ok .m able to submit article without adding pics..

upload pic option is also working but i want to add pics in middle of article..

is there any way to add pics in middle of article..??

Added location feature (with Google Map).

Your location feature isn't working. It's looking for a "States" table in the database that doesn't exist in the BxArticlesDb.php file on line 381.

SELECT * FROM `States` WHERE `CountryCode`=''  ORDER BY `State`

Have you got a fix for that?

Instructions for adding the states to the database was missing in the recent update. Please download the mod again then follow this instruction :

Upload sqlstates.php from "Articles_files" folder to your dolphin root and run http://www.yoursite.com/sqlstates.php

Thanks! Works great. But I sure wish more people would double check stuff before they sell it. It would save everybody a lot of headaches and wasted time!

The issue came from a recent update. The states is used by many of my modules. There was no error on my end during testing because the states already existed from previous mods installed on the test site.

Updated to remove the word "modzzz" that appears in the query string in some instances.

Sub-Categories is no longer compulsory. Re-upload the modules\modzzz\articles\classes folder.

where can I change and fix the order in which the categories are being presented?

Please elaborate on how you would want the categories ordered. Presently they are ordered alphabetically based on the name. There are various queries in the modules\modzzz\articles\classes\BxArticlesDb.php file that handles this (depending on where the categories is being displayed)

I have a problem. I don't need "friendly permalinks" in articles like http://domain.com/m/articles/view/The-name-of-the-article because such URLs are difficult for copying to research paper works for students and teachers (my website is educational).

So, is it possible to make URLs of articles like this example: http://domain.com/m/articles/view/{ID}

where {ID} is a unique ID of an article?

Ultimate Articles Blocks Not working.

Modzz - the Featured Articles and Latest Articles blocks on my site http://molosserdogs.com stopped working with 2.1.4 update. I just updated to 2.1.5 and they still don't work.  You still have admin and server access so please tell me what to check or have a look.

bought and uploaded the mod last night.  everything works perfectly except for 1 small bug.  

on the Articles blocks it shows the author as whichever member is viewing.

Please elaborate. Are you talking about the Site homepage or the Articles homepage ? Did you have custom work done to the module ?

Cannot replicate. PM site details so I can see this. Is it happening with imported Articles or regularly posted articles ?

I have updated the site. The problem was with the imported articles and not those posted through the module.

I was wondering if its possible to choose to display the profile image or an image uploaded to the article as thumbnail for the articles listings.

Since we are migrating our site from a different platform, some articles will appear as written by the admin (which is ok) but the listings appear repetitive since the profile image from the admin is used.

 Yes, in the admin settings for the mod, there is an option to chose which image to display.

I found a search function bug for articles.

For example, you have 1000 articles 100 of which have keyword "Legend".

If somebody search "Legend" he(she) sees first 10 (according to site options) articles with keyword "Legend".

BUT if we click the button "Show next 10 articles" (#10-20) or the button "View 20 articles per page" Boonex loads ALL ARTICLES (1000) without keyword "Legend".

Also I found that first 10 articles with keyword "Legend" we can find at the address:

http://BOONEX/searchKeyword.php?keyword=Legend

Next 10 articles (if we push the button NEXT 10 ARTICLES) with keyword "Legend" we can't see couse URL is broken - it hasn't keyword "Legend":

http://BOONEX/m/articles/browse/?page=2&per_page=14

So, Boonex loads 2nd page for ALL articles in the database.

This is a bug in the search functionality of Dolphin and not an Articles module problem. You will notice the same problem with other search results too. Also, I do not think you have the latest version of Articles (2.1.5) because I did put code in the mod to solve this Dolphin bug. See quick fix below :

In inc/classes/BxDolTwigSearchResult.php

Find first occurrence :

        $sUrlStart .= (false === strpos($sUrlStart, '?') ? '?' : '&');

Just below, add :

        if(bx_get('keyword')){
            $sUrlStart =  $sUrlStart . 'keyword='. bx_get('keyword') . '&';
        }

I have an old version 2.0.6 of Ultimate Articles and having seen current functionality I'd like to upgrade to the current version on 7.0.3.

Firstly, can I upgrade in one fell swoop or do I need to upgrade incrementally, version by version?

Secondly, you did some mods for me to the version that I have and I'd hate to lose them. You did not give me info on which code had been changed. Is there a way to upgrade without losing the mods?

Here are the changes:

1) Remove files, sounds, videos from upload options for articles

2) Articles rejected automatically (with perhaps a popup message to the submitting member) if the article is shorter than 420 words.

3) Allow no more than 5 tags to be posted to any article. Articles should not be rejected for having too many tags but the tags should simply not be saved when the article is saved. Again a popup notification or similar to warn the submitter.

4) Impose Arial 12 as the default paragraph font and size for all posts. If possible change any posts that alter this setting back to Arial 12.

5) Change all titles to To Article Case, No Matter How The Member Has Posted Them.

By the way, the changes you made have worked out really well. They made life much easier!
