My Holidays

This is a simple but useful module. It allows to increase members' activity on the site. Members would be able to see upcoming friends' holidays and easily congratulate their friends. You are welcome to check the Features List below to see how it works.

The features list:

1. Each member may create a list of holidays which he is celebrating. He can specify the following info about a holiday:
   
   
   
   • Title
   
   
   • Description
   
   
   • Celebration date
   
   
   • Category
   
   
   • Photos
   
   
   • Sounds
   
   
   • Videos
   
   
   
   Photos, Sounds and Videos can be used to describe how the holiday is usually celebrated or something like this. By default Photo Attachments are available only. Sound and Video Attachments can be enabled via admin panel (Image 5).


2. Each holiday has its own page where a viewer can congratulate the author, give him a like, etc. (Image 1)


3. Two blocks were added on My Account page. (Image 2) They are:
   
   
   
   • My Upcoming Holidays - displays a list of member's upcoming holidays. Also it allows a member to see all congratulations posted by his friends and reply them. (Image 3)
   
   
   • My Friends Upcoming Holidays - displays a list of member's friends upcoming holidays. Also it allows a member to congratulate his friends and see congratulations of the other friends. (Image 3)
   
   
   
   The main advantage of these blocks is that a member can check received congratulations, reply to them and post his own congratulations to his friends directly from My Account page.
   My Upcoming Holidays block is available on Profile page too. So, profile page visitors can congratulate the profile owner directly from the page.
