Articles RSS Importer Mod Support (Modzzz)

This is the support forum for the Articles RSS Importer mod.

Patch 2.0.1 Released. (See patches/version_2.0.1 folder in zip file)

Added the option (when inserting imported feed items) to use the published date of the feed item.

In admin, I can assign articles from an RSS feed to a user, but it is limited to assigning to admin users only.

Can this be changed to include assigning to any user?

This is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, re-upload the module files.

hi i insstalled rss articles version 7.2 

done all but when i tried to fetch first rss feed, got error

with this, nothing got properly used from list of 7 mods bought yesterday

All my mods are compatible with Dolphin 7.3. In the case where you do not see a zip file for version 7.3, use the file for version 7.2 and it will work just as well.

@iff2in - You are most likely getting an error because you installed the wrong one. When you unzip the package you should see two folders. One of them is for sites with default Dolphin Articles module and the other should be used only for sites with my Articles module installed.

I have installed correct one 7.2 and very carefully i picked modzzz mod  (for advanced articles)

Its not taking RSS feed.

hi i added one RSS feed but nothing happened. I See feed link in website but don;'t see any data thats pulled

In the settings for the module, you currently have it configured to fetch feed once daily. It will do this around midnight each day.

hi modzzz, nothing retrieved though i waited 3 days.

Adding feed, and selecting category and sub category and saving it, but when done edit , sub category vanished..

and waiting for 2 days, no feed came..

can you please check. I know you are busy

I don't want to do mistake of leaving this like it and forget like happened with few mods that are not working

@iff2in - Provide a sample feed that you are attempting to import and it is not working.

@iff2in - Download the latest copy of the module and do a fresh installation. Let me know if your issue is resolved now.

An issue with Sub-Categories not showing when an entry is edited has been fixed. Re-upload the modules/modzzz/rssletter/classes/BxRssLetterFormAdd.php file.

Would it be possible that the importer also fetches the image and inserts it as the article image? 

 It may be possible to do this as a custom job. PM me if interested.
