Every time I go into admin I try to input the license...... Nothing happens....
- allow_url_fopen = On - OK
- allow_url_include = Off - OK
The documentations says ...
Proceed to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Variables and change the license number in the Dolphin License Code field
Well that does not exist either.
Pretty expensive toy if after paying you can add you license code.
Anyone else had the same ?

Dolphin 7.1.4
I was e-mailed the prime license and mobile license.
Neither of them will register
The register box just pops up all the time.
|
ok for site licence you go to licence on the left of your dashboard menu.
there you fill your site lecence and click Register.
use the correct licence and check for empty spaces.
example: MS23WQ instead of MS23WQ
same goes for mobile licence.

Must have done that 10 times / logged in as admin / logged out as admin.
Entered the code, still nothing.
I'll send you my logins if you like, see if you can make it work, I'm totally out of ideas to be honest.

check your account => My Licenses on this site and see if the licences are there to see.
if not then maybe they are not submitted and you have to wait a bit longer and try again.

Obviously changed the last 3 digits but yes.
Any idea how to contact boonex directly ?

Sent you a PM
Thanks a million for trying to help :-)

I guess you had no luck either.
So bizarre for a paid product that REAL support links are just not available or so well hidden I cant find them.
|
I am assuming that both the Prime and Mobile license is showing as 'not registered' at this time.
Try going in and clearing your cache and turning off cache by going here:
Clear Cache: Admin Panel > Tools > Cache and click All to clear (on the right)
In the same area, click the settings link (next to cache engines) and remove the 'Enable Cache' options including compression.
Once you have done that, click the License option on the left and retry your license key again.
For Mobile License, you will have to submit your apps to the appropriate market places first (Google/iTunes) and be approved. Once your apps are available, you activate the license by pasting the link to your apps by clicking/editing the license.
Nothing to see here |
Still no luck !
May I PM you my logins and see if maybe you can get the thing to register please ?

Before you do that, can you check your licenses here at BoonEx and make sure they say 'not registered'? Nothing to see here |
They do indeed say 'not registered'
I have sent you a PM, Maybe you would be so kind to have a quick look?
I cant understand why something that should be so easy is being so difficult and forum members seem to be the only willing supporters around here :-(
|
As I stated via PM, this may have something to do with your domain ending in .gs instead of the normal .com, .net, etc.
AlexT may be able to help in this issue.

I'll try to contact Alex.
Thank you for looking for me. I do appreciate it Thanks.

Does anyone have any link to any real support?
The licenses are not cheap so having to randomly ask for help in forums to Register the software isn't really what I had in mind.
There must be a tech support contact that isn't a public forum ?
|
jonward55,
the real support is here on this forum. if you contact boonex workers then sometimes you have to wait couple of days for answers as they are very busy i think like all of us :-)
Good luck.

Sounds like a nice thought but I don't usually buy anything 2 or 3 days before I would like to use it ! |
This is just insane >> Contact Boonex Team so you click on that, it says " This is not a technical support form. For technical support, please go to the Help page. >>>>> So you click on that and it takes you back to http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki
Does anyone know how to actually contact "Technical Support" the site seems to have been set up to make contacting a human from Boonex impossible.
Is there even a real ticket system to request support or am I just missing the link ?
|
From what I understand, BoonEx doesn't have an actual support system beyond the documentation and forums. There used to be a paid ticket system (pay for x amount of support tickets), but that's no longer advertised. The license fee is to remove the banners; there's no statement of support beyond a free installation for Prime.
If you'd like, PM me your admin login and hosting control panel access (e.g., cPanel), and I can take a closer look.

Thanks Nathan, I sent you PM.
I'm shocked at the way Boonex has Zero support for the amount they charge for a license. In all of my years I have never come across any Company either web based or bricks and mortar who take payments and then offer totally Zero customer support.
I wish I was aware of this before I chose Boonex, They should put on their website a disclaimer "Order at your own peril, If you have problems you must beg members of the public for help"
Anyway, Thanks for your kind offer Nathan,
Jon
