Captcha can't be displayed !

I'm using d7 rc1. I added a new language file, then I found the capthca can't be displayed. In IE it's a red cross. In FF, it said there is error in pic itself and can't be displayed.

I googled around, to find that there should be some white space before the normal image content. someone track to find that the header contains language besides english. someone  found white space before <?.

I remeber afther i change language, the ajax login page returned ok, and before ok some white space inserted. So I suspect this is also space before image bis.

Dose any one can help me on this?

AlexT, do you notice this? I wonder if header changed, or something inserted into page file after languaged changed.

I'm using apach2.2.11 and php5.2.11 on winxp or win2003 ( both error)
