Credits Mod Support (Modzzz) - part 3

Followed instructions in the Credits - Dolphin 7.2 Upgrade folder but it doesn't update to version 2.1.4 in the sys_modules table.

Any ideas?

Is there a problem that following the upgrade script doesn't update the module version?

On another of your modules we had a similar problem where a version number was skipped and then after adding other patches you found that something was missing.

Do you perhaps have too many modules to keep track of?

I know you have already said that you don't intend to update two modules that I have purchased but never used (Writing Contests and Photo Contests). If these won't work on Dolphin 7.3 then they're as good as useless.

Does support still exist for this module?

2.1.4 version of the module was released from Dolphin 7.1. If that version is not showing for you, it means you did not apply that patch when it was released.

Processing of Credits purchase should be automatic if you have the correct configuration for your Payment system. This is an issue that would have to be specifically investigated on your site.

If you had the module installed on a Dolphin 7.2 site and updated to Dolphin 7.3, no specific change is needed for the module, hence no upgrade folder exists.

If you are doing a fresh installation of the module on a Dolphin 7.3 site, then you will need to use the Credits - Dolphin 7.3 folder.

I had no 2.1.4 patch in my old Credits module/ patches folder and none was in the latest version I downloaded.

Upgraded through the 'Credits - Dolphin 7.2' upgrade folder (no patches there either).

Should I uninstall and install again?

 This is all getting rather boring.

As mentioned in my previous response, the patch was from Dolphin 7.1 version. You can go ahead and re-install the module.

As mentioned in my previous posts, the 2.1.4 patch was not available in the download.

Yes, you will not find it now because the Dolphin 7.1 version is no longer included in the zip file. The zip file has versions of the module for Dolphin 7.2 and 7.3 . These versions have excluded the patches that were meant for Dolphin 7.1.

The price of this module has been significantly reduced.

We have a problem on /m/membership/index

Looks like there's a lot of file changes needed after an uninstall and re-install.

That seems to have fixed one problem.

Now I have

10 USD  or __credits__ Credits

Clicking on 'Pay by Credits' goes to /__credits_pay_url__5

Not Found!

This problem comes from the

modules/boonex/membership/templates/base/available_level.html

code changes.

I put the original file back and this problem is resolved; ie: can't pay with credits.

Also in the Shopping Cart, having 'Verified Member for 0 days' looks kind of strange (for doesn't expire).

 Any ideas what was wrong there?

 The reported issue is under investigation.

Would it be possible to integrate Credits with your Business Listings, Restaurants and Locations modules?

suggestion one:

credits is similar to money, It is important to the member.

the credit records in the "credit history" is very important.

If the member can see one month credit records in detail, It will be cool.

as a member, when donate credit to another member, if he can leave a note to explain the reason or something else, it will be cool.

@1265116616 - Unzip the modules and you will see the installation instructions in the readme.txt. It is very similar to installation of any other Dolphin module.

I bought the modules credits, points, and the convertor.

They are powerful tools.

Easy to install.

If you offer a tutorial document to introduce every function, it will be cool.

An issue with purchasing Credit packages has been resolved. Re-upload files and recompile the language for the module.

I bought the Credits Mod. Nice work! In the mod, there is nowhere, no link in the menu pointing to the purchase credit page.

In the Spotlight and Featured purchase page, there is a link pointing to /m/credit/purchase_credits (e.g.: xx more credits needed. Buy here). Unfortunately this purchase_credits page (Credits Activities) is just empty. Too Bad!

But /m/point/purchase_points works very well. Why isn't /m/credit/purchase_credits working and how to fix it? Please provide a fix.

The only way to purchase credits seems to be throught the account page. That's too bad too, because it is hidden and difficult to find for many users.

Credits system should probably be one of the best ways to monetize Dolphin, but the mod makes it difficult to find the purchase page and to buy credits. The actual buy credit system is not practical. It should have been working like the Point Purchase (/m/point/purchase_points).

Hello Mods,

Same problem in the Business Listings mod with the Credits Mod.

"Your Credits balance is 0. You need 2 Credits to feature this listing. Buy more here"

When you click on the  "Buy more Credits here" it takes you to /m/credit/purchase_credits which is empy.

Please provide a fix.
