Currency code - €

hello

I would like to install € and currency code

For $ = $

For € = I don't know

I have look for code ascii of €... I find  0128

Have you information because during the payment, paypal give this following message :

This recipient either does not accept payments denominated in EUR or has specified an invalid currency code on his web site. Please contact the seller and ask him either to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency or to correct his web site to specify a valid currency code.

Hi there,

I found a way to resolve.

You need to go to your mysql-database, via phpmyadmin f.e.

1. Go to table sys_options

2. then look for entry pmt_default_currency_code (maybe page 5) Warning! There is another entry at the beginning and if you change there nothing will be happen.

3. Change all EURO to EUR, because Paypal accept the word EUR as correct code

Save and finish. Now I can send my cart to paypal with euro-value :)

I have a problem with the ads. The Dolphin 7.1 is changed to €. As shown above.

(The shop module is working fine, and shows the EUR sign.) but in the member levels and the ad module the $ is always shown.

How to solve the problem?

 same problem i have here...its frustrating..

I do not know if there is a way to change the default Currency setting but you can change each one in modules/ads/category manager (EXAMPLE car parts/edit)text field unit1.
