JoeWa,
you need to post this in the jobs section of the site.. posting this in the forums is a violation of the rules of the forum, as this is a form of advertisement. Boonex has provided us with an area 'jobs' and this type of post needs to be placed in there please.
Much appreciated,
DosDawg

I imagine the fact that the market is premium-only has caused a mental disorder to develop in all of us to post such requests for contractual work in the forums, and we are still adapting to the mindset a job area with lesser restrictions creates. Aha, ok, thanks for the info, I didn't realise this was a rule. I'd have considered improvements to Boonex sites as bettering the product as a whole if developers are using their skills to wade their way through all that code and eventually pass the benefits on.
I don't see Boonex offering development options so can't see why it's a problem to request help on here. EDIT: I now see they charge for posting in the Market section, so I can see why they don't want free posts here.
But, if that's the case, sorry all :) |
its not a problem requesting help, however, there was much petitioning for the jobs section to be placed back on the site. boonex has replaced the jobs section, therefore, we need to use the appropriate areas that are allocated for our communications.

Speaking of communications...

its not that they charge to post in that specific section solely, the fact is that without some form of control on what gets posted where, then it would be a free for all, and of course this invites spam.

thanks for your understanding, and i think its a minimal amount as well, $5.00 or something, so surely if you are looking for developers, an investment of $5.00 wouldnt break the budget?

I didn't know the Market was a place for pitching development jobs alongside purchasing modifications, so posted on the forums, thanks for the info, now I know. |
