Error message after upload of Dolphin

I receive this message in my browser (FireFox) and not sure as to why..  Just uploaded Dolphin and did everything that I was suppose to do including setting up a MySQL 5.0 database.  I believe that my hosting requirements are correct, however, that could be the issue.  I use Godaddy as my hosting provider

Error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mb_internal_encoding() in /home/content/j/l/y/jlyskowinski/html/mycommunity/install/index.php on line 541

Any assistance is appreciated, thanks!

Your php was probably compiled without mb_internal_encoding. Check your phpinfo...

Hi, i read somewhere that while godaddy is great for some things, it just isnt up to running dolphin, and warns to stay clear of godaddy for hosting dolphin, so this could be your problem.

Send that error message to your host and ask them to correct the error.  If they do not correct then start interviewing other hosting companies and move the site to one that will support Dolphin.  You don't need to be an IT guy for that to happen.

got it to work, did a little research on this forum for issues with Godaddy and found out what to do!

I installed this within the .htaccess file and it came up in my browser!

AddHandler x-httpd-php5 .php

AddHandler x-httpd-php .php4

YIPEE!

By the way, I am an IT girl not a guy!  So ha!
