Events - Send Email

Is there a mod which will enable the Events module to automatically send an email upon a preset schedule?.

Our Ultimate Events mod at http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Ultimate_Events_2010_06_16 allows you to send reminders to participants at a preset number of days before the Event Starts. If this is not exactly what you want, provide more details of what you require.

Does the Calendar also send email upon a given time, this would probably be better for the Calendar to update re an Event. Can the Events/Calendar be for 'Me Only' also?

Finally, is this a 'module' install via admin or is it an 'update core code' mod?

Response : Give an example of what kind of email you would want to be sent and what determines when it is sent. Sorry, I am not getting the bigger picture of what you are requesting here.

Response : By default, dolphin allows the creation of Events for 'me only'

Response : This is an extension of the default Events mod. There are modifications to some events files.

Hi, I am setting up a Travel advice page on my web site.

Re the Events. I want to be able to enter Shows plus any main events into 'Events'. Notification via email

Re Calendar: Notification via email for things like: meet John at Theatre, Catch bus to xxx. Email prior to a given event hopefully this can be sent hours prior to meeting.

I am relying on Push/Email (mobiles) for this to work. I would prefer an sms alert but I am not sure how to set that up and whether it needs to be paid for (at source).

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I looked at your Ultimate Events mod, it looks good, will it be able to do the above?
