Get a 404 Message when viewing http://site/admin

All,

I get a 404 error message when I first install Dolphin 7 everything seems fine.

I log in as "admin" I go to people, then select the person "admin"

the site goes to the url http://site/admin which produces a 404 error message.

am I doing something wrong?

Do you have any other accounts setup?

If so, check them as well.

If not. Set up a test account then see if that does it to.

Also are any of your modules throwing 404 errors. Check all sites pages.

This usally means the .htaccess file from the dolphin zip file did not get uploaded to the server as the server is not processing the url rewrites.

I created an account called jamesandjennie

there is a link to http://site/jamesandjennie which produces a 404 error message

the .htaccess file is there.

I have tried this on both windows and linux environments.

Ok. This indicates the servers have not been properly setup for mod_rewrite

Apache must have mod_rewrite enabled and the Allowoverride must be All

Server configuration issue at this point is my best guess.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
