Groups: 2 languages, but only English used

Hy,

i got a problem with languages in my Groups - Orca.

My normal Orca is working perfect (if user language is de, then Orca also is german), but

Orca in Groups doesn't seem to understand the user language:

1) the Navigation menu changes from german to english

2) Groups - Orca only displays english language.

I compiled both languages in Orca (otherwise normal Orca would work like it does currently)

and in Groups Orca. I did this on my local machine, then uploaded the folders to my ftp

(I cannot compile them 'online', because I get into curious trouble with folder permissions

(user then is system not me, so i cannot change permissions in ftp)), and like mentionned

Orca is working fine, but not Orca in Groups.

I translated the english words in groups/orca/layout/base_de and uni_de to german, but

no success. Groups-Orca definitely does not want to 'talk' german.

Any hints how to make Groups-Orca multilingual?

Witch version of Dolphin do you use?
I have also two languages and have no problems in groups.
I use version 6.1.2 and only translated the main language files.

My site Group names are always display in English even my site supports multiple language.

And I even couldn't find where these group name strings stored(file location), any idea?

Hi,

try to change in groups/orca/classes/BxLang.php

var $_sLang = 'en';

to

var $_sLang = 'de';

Also, I changed in groups/orca/xml/config.php:

$gConf['lang'] = 'en'; to $gConf['lang'] = 'my_lang';

And recompile lang; In my situation, after acces to group forums, it doesnt change (my dolphins) lang.
