Host For Web - Load Testing - Site Slow

I have a D7.0.5 site upgraded all the way from D6 in HostForWeb VPS hosting.

I usually have a max of 10 people online at a time. and the site is slow sometimes.
Recently I had 30 people online at once and the site crawled.

I am trying to work with HFW hosting after reading this article.

Someone suggested ab- Apache Benchmark Performance testing.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks

Prob with VPS is you never really know what other sites you are sharing with and what bandwidth they are consuming at any given time.

I have a dedicated server with HFW and a number of my own D sites on it.

1 can get busy at times with 50+ people in chat rooms etc...

Never notice any slow down at all.

You should probably just make the jump to dedicated if you really want to run Dolphin.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
