Internal server error after template upload

I get the internal server error 500 after I uploaded a new template and chosen this template as the default in the advanced settings.

I have restored the original database and templates folder with no result...

this could possibly be in your htaccess file. if you want me to look at your files, then hit me up. but uploading a template to the template folder should not have caused this, and if you were to have changed back to the uni template, this should have rectified itself.
