Issue installing Dolphin?

Hi Guys I'm having an issue with installing dolphin 6.1 I'm alright with installing websites and know my way around but when I upload the dolphin package i got the following message.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/letstalk/public_html/boonex/install/index.php on line 541

This is my default hosting folder /home/letstalk/public_html/ so all of dolphin is in the boonex folder

Any help on this? As I've uploaded this twice and still get the same error is there a file i need to get in order to get this working..

it is your host. you need to have php compiled with mb_string enabled. and its not.

where are you hosted?

I don't know I'll email them and ask them to turn it on..
