Join Form photo upload

i understand its been a while but i had the photo upload on join form working fine so does anyone know what the settings are to make this work i messed around with the members and privacy settings but nothing i do makes it work again..

Have you removed the ProfilePhoto field block in admin/builders/fields builder/ ?
