LInks from Dashboard all lead to Language settings

I've installed 7.1. Most is working well.

When I go to customise and use the links from the Dashboard they all take me to the Language settings page.

Is this just a setup issue or a bug?

Neither. The Language Keys are where you can change the text throughout the site. If you want to change the "About Us" page content, you do it by changing the text in the associated language key. This goes for all areas. For example, if you want to change the tab "Sounds" to "Music" or "Ads" to "Classifieds", you do it by editing the corresponding language key.

Examples:
_ABOUT_US (System)
_bx_ads_Ad (Boonex Ads)
_FAQ_INFO (System)
_TERMS_OF_USE (System)

I've installed 7.1. Most is working well.

Aha! Sorry but I realise that this is the way to do this even in the earlier versions.

Thanks for the memory jog!

Its looking quite good so far. A couple of templates would give some variety but I guess in t he meantime the css editing is the way to go.

Cheers and thanks for your input.

Hello again,

Just when I thought I knew what I was doing I realise that I don't!

Is there a tutorial or guide for dealing with the language keys at all? I can't find any to modify so I guess I must be missing something somewhere.

Any insights would be most welcome.

Cheers

Many thanks for pointing me the right way.

Is there somewhere I can see the list of keys that can be altered at all?

Almost any text can be changed, just search for the text you want to change.
