List of files/db affected by patch upgrade

First time I'm upgrading (from 7.0.1 to 7.0.2)...and I don't see the list of affected files and database tables...???!!!  Or am I missing something?  Where is the list of files and database tables that have been changed from the previous version?

Boonex never releases a text file containing a detailed report of whats been done. They never have, and i don't think they ever will.

But you can easily tell whats been changed. Starting from version 7.0.1 boonex has released a patch. This zip file contains only the files which have been changed.

And in the patch files folder upgrade\files\7.0.1-7.0.2 is a sql file that contains all the queries that will update the database so you can see what has changed there as well.

Yeah I'm of the opinion that a diffs file should be released - preferably prior to the actual release too.

It needs to list files changed + database tables changed / added.

If it's released ahead of the game, devs can prepare themselves for the upcoming releases and know what work they have to do. Pretty standard practice in most dev circles. (BTW there is no devlist here at Boonex).

I know some will say that you can simply trawl through the files and work it out, or use a diffs prog, but why? Putting it together is really not that much of an issue. It should be included.

That and a release of the version to mod developers first so updates can be done on mods before the public release. Right now i am scrambling to get all my mods checked and updated.

That's part of the fun, though.
