Login with Google module?

Has anyone built one yet- or tried to?  I know there are several here for Facebook, but lots of people use Google and they aren't going away anytime soon.  I don't really care for Janrain so would like a standalone one like what has been done with Facebook..   I have some decent contacts at Google who could probably provide some help with this, if I could get a decent mod developer to take a look.  I could help with testing and make some of my systems available for that also.   Keeping this open source would be nice, but paid would be better than nothing.  Please let me know if anyone want to explore, or if anyone is already working on this.

presscon,  thanks - I just looked, and it doesn't look too bad.  It seems that it is like Janrain though in that it requires you to use another service.  This one is called "younetid" and they don't answer on that page what it is.   I would rather have the permissions come from my own domain, and still think it would be better to do this directly - like with the Facebook mod.  Would anyone like to work on this?  I can get Google advisors to help (maybe) and possible even other developers.  Let me know if anyone is interested. 

Caltrade, did you view their modules2buy video, you have to obtain your own API code for this too work so I do not think you are using any outside service, you are going direct. Just like the FB connect with Dolphin.

though i dont know how would do this, as most everybody seems to be swamped, but there is a login share API for google, and yes, i am with you on having the individual ones rather than the bundle of janrain.

I'm highly interested in a direct Google login module as well and am not interested in 25 login sites, just google.
