Mass Mailer - none of my members show up

At the moment I am running on Dolphin 7.0.1

After upgrading to D7 from D6, I haven't been able to send out emails through the mass mailer.  When I create an email to send out to Members and Subscribers. None of the contacts show up.  It just shows 0 in queue ....

Also when I go to Manage Subscribers, it shows only my email address.  I should have about 3500 addresses??

What is the problem and how do I fix it?

I'm kind of "blonde" when it comes to figuring out the technical things. Embarassed

so your mail is made in the

Email message block ...then in the All Messages block you choose yoru new message from the dropdown.   after a sec a "Queue message" block appears outta nowhere at the bottom...without making changes you click "submit" and after a few minutes near the top "
Status" block
you do not see
Queue status:
3500 mails in queue?
3500 mails will take a while to load into the table please let it load.

I tried giving it more time before getting worried that only the one email address was there.

And now More and more emails are gradually being added into queue.

It went from: Queue status: 1 mails in the queue

to now: Queue status: 10 mails in the queue and slowly getting higher as I refresh the page.

So I guess I will let it sit over the weekend for all emails to be added.

Thanks a lot. I'm a little impatient ;-)

So I left mass mailer in queue over night and came back to it in the morning.  Hoping that the number in queue had increased closer to the 3500 contacts that I have in my subscription.  It turned out that the number has stayed the as it was last night.

" Queue status: 11 mails in the queue "

Is this a database problem??

you need to check alt= 1, if they are set to EMAILNOTIFY=0 the mail will not go out. this was a problem from D6 --> D7

By any chance do have your date of birth suppressed on the join form, so your member profiles don't have birth dates.  We found that rather serious bug in D7.0 - I would have assumed it had been fixed by now.  If they didn't bother, there is some code that okweb did here that fixes it - I don't know why they wouldn't have used it already.

Also, there is a weird user interface problem here.   The "queue" in this case is something that is going on internally I believe - messages that are added to the queue does not represent the total number - you are seeing a chunk being brought over one at a time - that number has no practical use that I can see.

The ability to send broadcast emails to our communities in another mission critical function that no longer works in D7 even though it worked in fine D6.

where to do this?

I have two Dolphin 7.0.2 communities. One of my communities will only queue the first 31 members. It will not queue the remaining 300 members despite EmailNotify being set to '1'.  Has anyone else experienced this? With my other community the mass mailers works fine and queues all members.
