Matchmaking email problem

Everytime a new member signs up as a member you get 25 match emails, I have gone into Advanced Settings and unchecked the following:

Enable Cupid mails - Unchecked

Enable Matchmaking - Unchecked

Send a cupid mail if the recently joined profile matches more than this percentage - Blank

But a member complained that she still gets way too many emails notifying her that a new member that matches her has joined. How do I fix this?

"Send a cupid mail if the recently joined profile matches more than this percentage - Blank"

Rather than blank, did you try a quite high value like 90% ???

I had the same problem. I solved it by disabling the cupid.php cron job.
