Photo Grid Module Support (Modzzz)

This is the support forum for the Global Photo Grid module. 

The Dolphin Photos module has a Photo Grid with rotating photos on the main photos page. Many persons have asked for this block to be available elsewhere, such as on the homepage.

The installation instructions have been updated to allow compatibility with our Splash Slide Show module.

Photo Grids block does not display on join.php, do you know how to fix this? 

If you check the demo site you will see that it is showing on the join page so there is something else wrong on your site. Is it showing on other pages ? Are you sure there are Photos available to show ? PM me your site details so I can take a look.

Okay, think the problem is caused by the splash page. Will PM you with more details. Thanks 

Number of columns in admin setting does not work if max page width is under 1044px, this block is responsive so when max page width is under 1044px the block will by default resizes to fit mobile/tablet view and display 3 number of rows, regardless of what "Number Of Rows" are set by admin...

My question is how to set limit max number of rows in the photos grids to only display 2 rows always, even if max page width is under 1044px and in mobile/tablet view?  

@adultdate - You cannot absolutely force it to display just the two rows in the scenario where the display space is reduced as it will seek to accommodate the number of photos that is configured (which is determined by the multiple of the number of rows and columns configured in the settings).

Added the ability to switch between showing Profile thumbnails or Pics from the Photos module.

Hi,

I installed PhotoGrid to display on the home page but there is nothing, but the splash screen in gone. When I uncheck Photo Grid Active in the Module settings the Splash screen is back.

Also on the Photos  page the photo cover keeps loading.

Any suggestions?

The mod has been updated to resolve an issue with Profile thumbnails being distorted. Please re-upload the module files.

Hi Modzzz,

When the Photo Grid mudule is active on the homepage and visible for everybody the Join form is not working, it reports that there are errors but there is no error to review. When I switch the visiblity to Only logged-in users the Join form works as normal.

Could you help me with this?

Hi Modzzz,

Recently the pictures on the Photo grid seems to be of a lower quality than before. Any idea what can influence the quality of the displayed photo's in the grid? They are fine on the profile pages.

Some adjustments were made to the resizing in recent times to improve the quality. Download the mod again and re-upload the files.

 Yes, it is. You can check the description page of modules to see which versions they are compatible with.
