RMS 7.0 not connecting "due to long handshake"

Hi everybody,

I am new to the Dolphin 7.0 world and would like to activate the RMS features as well.
I installed the latest JRE rpm from Sun on my CentOS 5.4 server. (jre-6u20-linux-x64-rpm.bin) and then followed the instructions for the Ray server install:
- setup the access.dat
- entered the Java directory on red5.sh
- changed the IP address on all the webapps
- run the red5.sh script

Then, as first test, I went to http://www.boonex.com/rms.html and entered my IP address.

With great surprise I noticed..
NetConnection.Connect.Failed
NetConnection.Connect.Closed

On the log..

2010-05-16 16:54:33,633 [Red5_Scheduler_Worker-1] WARN  o.r.server.net.rtmp.RTMPConnection - Closing RTMPMinaConnection from x.x.x.x: 1143 to y.y.y.y (in: 3383 out 3177 ), with id 1405114870 due to long handshake

Same thing happens when I try to configure the Flash Apps on the Dolphin admin panel...

Could you please let me know what I am doing wrong with this?

This setup is done on a just-installed CentOS virtualmachine.

firewall? ports open on the server?

Hi,

I've even disabled the iptables. By the way the ports open are 5080 1935 1936 all TCP.

Happened to me a few times. Just reboot the server.

Unfortunately this didn't solve the issue. :(

Unfortunately this is custom software and not something  we may provide general support  for. You may try to create on-demand ticket, but I did some search on the forums and there were  recommendations to use older version of red5 server. Anyway, I think it is worth to try to reinstall this once again.
