Register to download Dolphin?

I went to get a copy of Dolphin to install on my AMMPS and was faced with a login/register to get the download.  Just wondering if this is a good idea or not; some people will turn away when faced with registering on a site to download a copy of an application they are interesting in trying.  I would think that growth of Dolphin is connected with as many people getting to try it as possible so should we make them jump through a hoop to get the download?

I agree. Whenever I'm forced to register to get something I don't bother. Nor do I bother if a script doesn't install properly and/or the installation instructions are vague. The only reason I bother with Dolphin is because it was available as a simple download and did install without hassles a few years ago.

That isn't the case today.

Sadly the Wiki and many other pages are outdated, thus making it difficult to use the script even if you do install it okay.
