TinyMCE - Possibility to have a sticky menu?

Even in this forum, the text i write here is scrollable in the tinyMCE Editor. But in the articles module there is no sticky menu. Could this be changed? Because when you write long articles in is annoying to constantly scroll up and down to format your text? Or how do you do this? Do you use an external editor ? Which one do you use?

Hello mrtn!

May you please provide more details with screenshot which menu you do mean?

@Leonid, take a look at the "reply' section of this forum. As you type text, the top bar (menu) stays put and the text scrolls upwards and out of sight when you reach the bottom of the typing frame. A scroll bar also appears on the right and this allows you to scroll the text up and down without losing site of the menu bar.

When you use Tinymce in the News module for example, there isn't a slider. If the text is long, the Tinymce menu bar disappears and you have to use the browser's slider to get it back.

The question as I see it is: Can we set up Tinymce in Dolphin to have a text scroll bar?

You can switch to fullscreen, so it will be easier to type long text:

Also you can disable TinyMCE area auto resizing by removing the following line:

resize: true,

In templates/base/scripts/BxBaseEditorTinyMCE.php file, in 2 places.
