connection problem

I have a connection problem which i cant get fixed.

The major issue is that my latest forumpostsblock om the homepage keep spinning.

But when I'm in admin panel at the bottom of the dashboard my BoonexNewsFeed and my Latest Modules are also spinning.

Does anyone know what causes this and how it can be fixed??

I use D7.0.1

you should have it in your php.ini settings (root)

Have you tried clearing your cache in the admin panel? If it won't let you do it then do it the old fashioned way and delete the contents of the cache and cache public directories then go back to the admin panel and do a hard refresh by hitting Ctrl+F5.

I cant change the whole chache folder (except the htaccess)

there are some sys-files in it.

if I delete them, my emailsystem will be destroyed.

but when do I do the action ctrl F5???

on which page?

or just when I'm in admin panel?

Go to the admin panel and first try clearing the cache from there by clicking on the clean all in the cache box on your admin home page. Try that first then do a refresh by hitting F5.

When you clicked on clean all did a message pop up saying that the Cache was successfully cleaned?

Quote · 16 Jun 2010

You need to do like they said.  delete everything in cache except for .htaccess  and delete everything from cache_public  either by ftp  ssh  or cpanel file manager.

it also looks like you need to recompile your lang files as well.

this is what I did:

- checked the php.ini file and its in my root containing text as written in other topics.

- cleaned the cache in admin panel

- deleted cache in ftp client

- hit CTRL + F5

all this had no effect!

Then I compiled my languagefiles and all my Dutch keys are gone.

English is still there.

I had to reupload a backup of the lang-nl file.

anyone another idea?

No one can answer you because you havent told them what you have done leading up to this spinning. These are simple RSS feeds and work perfect out of the box. Install again in a new folder called test and let us know if it persists. Then one by one do all the things you do to the site. Document each step the you tell us what you did to break it. We can then tell you what to do to fix it.

Many spinning circles are due to bad javascript or perhaps you need to assign a host entry in the svhosts file that points to the real host
IE site.com points to 10.1.2.56

These are just shots in the dark and no one will ever get it just guessing, there are too many variables.

If all else fails, I would suggest a hosts move, many problems in Dolphin are due to incapable hosts.

I have video tutorials to help you mrpowless.com
