Maybe you are getting too much hit by spam bots or you need to do some tests to verify some stuff and it ain't gonna be easy....first move your site to temporary server/localhost and enable profiler module then visit join form and see which modules are loaded.

so much to do....

Well, if you don't have tech skills then probably you need to hire a good known dolphin dev, i doubt these so called "dolphin hosting" guys even know D of it.

Edit: Excluding Zarconia at least, they might be able to help and i recommend to move to them. They have some offer running now http://zarconia.net/

The code is suppose to go after the <?php tag.

But to be honest, i would not bother with all the trouble of trying to correct it. It's quite obvious you have one of their low end shared hosting packages. They seriously restrict resources on those accounts. Any decent activity at all will cause it to peek above their restrictions. Spammer activity alone will cause it.

You need a better host. I recommend http://zarconia.net/

So, Do I have to go for Dedicated Servers or Shared Hosting in zarconia.net.  Which one is ok to use?  Is shared hosting is good for boonex?

Quote · 17 May 2014

Depends on how much traffic you get, start with shared and move to dedi if/when required.

so much to do....

Yes. But it depends on how busy your site is. If the site hit the limits on Arvixe, then Zarconias SH3 would be the recommended minimum. The SH1 and SH2 are really for startup sites and testing. But send a message to the owner Zarcon, or the Co-Owner Nathan Paton and ask them. They can help you. Most likely can even help you move the site. More information about your site, current usage, number of members, ect will be needed to make a proper choice.

We rented a VPS from Arvixe before moving to the dedicated as a stop-gap between the first crappy VPS and the dedi.  Even with the Arvixe VPS account we kept running into their resource limits.  Arvixe claims to offer Dolphin hosting but I don't know what you can buy from them that won't have you hitting their resource limits.

Now, where is the Arvixe liaison that use to be in the forums because I want to hear from him/her.

What are you trying to saying Geek girl.  IS Arvixe VPS is good for boonex or not?

I guess she's saying it's about as good as you are on now....so no, it's no good! ;)

The hosting you buy is going to depend on your budget.  Higher end hosting is going to be more expensive.; however, you get the resources you need to run your site.  Only you can determine how much you can afford to spend.

No. I believe she said they were crappy. Staying with Arvixe is not worth it. Resources are seriously restricted on both the shared and VPS. Not worth the hassle. The only hosting from them that is decent is the dedicated servers. But their prices for those are to high. So look into zarconia.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
