orca forums

Without removing blogs I would like to remove the orca forums from my 7.02 version, tried to Uninstall from admin-Tolls-Modules but it crashed the members sites so I had to reinstall. Also I need to remove the Forums menu buttons. Any tips out there would be very welcome...

if you are unable to uninstall, plus this will remove groups as well i think. but the alternative would be to disable from the menu, and possibly even set the file perms to 000.

unfortunately there does not seem a way to disable the forum from the menu unless I am missing something?

You can modify the navigation menu from administration, builders, navigation menu, and you can disable menu items by either moving them into the inactive area, or by removing the visibility of the item for both members and non-members from the item's edit window.

For menu items which also display in the quick links section of the account dashboard, the display of these items can also be controlled from the edit window of the corresponding navigation menu item.
