problem access modules

I have just started looking at dolphin and installed on a linux box on my local network while i test things....

Installation went ok and the basic site works ok.

I have installed the boonex chat module and when I try to access it the link appears to be broken..... the link shows http://testserver/m/chat/home

Also...... when I try to install the avatar module I am getting sql insertion errors...... error shows -

Error:Column 'Order' cannot be nul

Insert into 'sys_page_compose' ........

Anyone any ideas or pointers......

The link is fine.

Does it give a 404 error? You did not state, so i am guessing.

Make sure the .htaccess file from the zip file was uploaded to the server.

If it's there then you do not have your server properly configured.

mod_rewrite must be enabled in apache and allowoverrides must be allowed.
