Access Denied in Orca 6.1.1 - Worked prior to upgrade!

In forums I select a Forum then I select a category and click new topic (or reply, same prob) I get access denied, you need special permissions or you are not signed in.
I am signed in, the forums are public and free is selected in admin. I have also allowed all under Standard Member, But i still cannot access the forum (no problem via admin).
This worked before Dolphin 6.1.1 upgrade.
Any ideas?

I had already done this but I had to go to the top most members list and click on the lettering that said in-active (why I don't know). How many times do you have to activate a member? Or am I confusing activate profile with activating member??
Boonex, could you clarify, is this a bug?
The above problem has reared its head once more, this time all the members are 'active'.
Any ideas anyone?

I retraced my steps and it appears I was only able to post a forum message previously because Dolphin had defaulted to 'Admin' This happens if I have two windows open, one of them 'Admin'
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

whenever I successfully edit a forum posting.
I receive an "Access denied" message whenever I try to edit a group posting.
These are both Orca, so I figure the problem is there. I am going to try reverting to the former Orca version and see if it helps.
Can anyone please provide some insight on this? My users are unable to work on the Forums at the moment.

Change the following folder permissions to the following.
dolphindirectory/groups/gallery - 0777
dolphindirectory/groups/orca/cachejs - 0777
dolphindirectory/groups/orca/classes - 0777
dolphindirectory/groups/orca/js - 0777
dolphindirectory/groups/orca/layout - 0777
dolphindirectory/groups/orca/log - 0777
This worked for me, but I can't guarantee it for you.
