More links for just the novices and newbies...who don't know anything.

Alright, maybe you guys are right after all and that last blog of mine was a bit too far over the edge. My apologies if it was...but I tend to do a lot of business trips into the abyss so it is difficult for me to tell sometimes just what is polite in a world using depleted uranium on the generations yet to be for the next 4,500,000 years...and what is over the edge.

So as a sign of my misfortune in men's eyes and to show you I ain't to proud to eat humble pie and say eyes sorry here is a little gift to the real real real novices. And newbies don't panic if this seems like an overload of computer jargon you aren't familiar with when you start getting to the bottom...you are not going to be examined on all of it by morning. But you should be aware that actually running your own site is more complicated than just sending out emails. It is NOT insurmountable at all what you are going to have to know to make yours a reality but just the same it is going to require you to do a minimum amount of work as well. And if you are not willing to do that don't blow a fuse here trying to get Dolphin to work for you...because it wont.

Limewire
Absolutely and totally FREE downloads of just about every music there is. Help keep our musicians honest and not obscenely rich...don't pay for it. However with a bit of soul searching you can also get the Pro version of Limewire totally free at either of the sites I am going to tell you not to go to below.

Bittorrent
This is a peer to peer file sharing protocol which in plain English means that people share all manner of commercial programs with each other for FREE which is stealing from large corporations and something which I would never advocate.  And I am only putting it in here for educational purposes so that none of you will be tempted to use it like I do...by accident.

uTorrent
This maybe an even better peer to peer file sharing program where you can also get those same types of full versions of commercial programs which cost up to a $1,000 or much more and which should be kept out of the hands of those who can not afford them at all cost or society will break down from its current wonderful state of war, pestilence, disease and death and into a world of anarchy, chaos and peace...which of course would be devastating to us all.

xSharex
I joined this site for life for less than $4 and by mistake I have already downloaded well over $2,000 in software from it. Please don't post "Thank you." or anything even remotely like that on the site if you find your self drawn to this or the next site since they now get so many "thank you's" they consider that spam and you could be deleted for sending those kinds of messages.

Warez Releases

Likewise please don't go here. You might find you have access to every imaginable overpriced software there is and you wont be tempted to pay for it when you get it for nothing. And it would be absolutely horrible if you used that money instead to take a homeless person out to dinner or donated it to some other site...which only lives on donations.

WinRAR
Easiest unzip file I have ever used of course it is the only one too...but why pay for the commercial version if the free version works just great?

Cron
I put this one in here for me to study. My original site had all kinds of problems with my "crons" and which I never did understand and which I don't intend to let happen again.

Linux
Open source Operating System(OS). Why pay hundreds of dollars for Vista when it has added a few cosmetic improvements and become a memory hog to enable its security features work so it can't be used used by others? Linux has been described this way to me by my cyber guru "...it is difficult to learn but extremely powerful and easy to use."

There are three basic versions which all have the same Linux "kernel". The versions are SUSE, Mandriva and Ubuntu. I am using Ubuntu(which is an African word with a deep spiritual meaning) Desktop which was recommended by guru Bill who said that SUSE is very good too.

I'm using it on a server(hardware) I just bought which cost me less than $500(on sale w/o an Operating System pre-installed) and which I didn't need because I decided to use Ubuntu because it is FREE even though somehow I came into possession of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition(cost $3999) through one of those sites I distinctly told you not to go to above.

Dialme.com
An emerging new site also devoted to Dolphin software and its peaceful ideals and quest for Unity.

WampServer
Link to where you can get the free WampServer software to get your computer to run as a fully functioning server. Also has downloads for Apache, Mysql and PHP add ons to make your new server more stable and run just like it would on a hosting provider.

You_Want_To_Host_Dolphin_Ray_Orca_On_Your_Own_Personal_Computer_At_Home
For those on a shoe string budget and for those who want to get their feet wet learning how to set up a Dolphin community site and really understand using root(superuser privileges on a server) and who want total control of their site. Or how to use your OWN computer as a server to host a Dolphin site useing the Wamp Server software.

Appache
One of the best, if not the best, server programs in use and which is open source and of course FREE.

PHP
PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML.

One question:
Why are you providing illegal informations on your post??

"Limewire
Absolutely and totally FREE downloads of just about every music there is"

Its illegal to download any music from there when you dont got the original buyed file!

"Bittorrent"

Ok, you saved yourselfe! But pls, dont go on any details at here.

"uTorrent
This maybe an even better peer to peer file sharing program where you can also get those same types of full versions of commercial see more programs which cost up to a $1,000 or much more and which should be kept out of the hands of those who can not afford them at all cost or society will break down from its current wonderful state of war, pestilence, disease and death and into a world of anarchy, chaos and peace...which of course would be devastating to us all."

So this it the way from what you are using where you are getting your business programs????

"xSharex

Nice and fair business man....ironic mode!

"Warez Releases
Likewise please don't go here"

Simple, then DONT post such things!

Yeah your are right, i was the one who made the post, "relax community relax" but what you are doing is a no GO and i hope Boonex will delete those links and all.

Its not a bad meaning, but maybe the wrong way on how to start your post. The rest is good information! But the first things....yeah you know it know ;)

i put another "wink" for Bramin! Did anyone ever ask you for direction to a street, and just throw and wave hands and say by so and so left, just over the hill turn right, persuming the person knows the place as well as you?

I am only starting out on the IT thing, And i think what bramin has said make sence especially if everyone else knows about them and readily use those facilities/terms

We all had to start at one point and pointers and at this point I will slurp every little bit see more I dont have to pay for
TheGateKeeper
I applaud the writer of this blog for stepping forward with some very usefull information.
