hey all,

i am needing member points on my posts so that i am eligible for a moderator membership level. if my posts have helped you, pissed you off, or encouraged you in anyway, then please help me out and give me a point on the post you have read.

i know i have pissed a few of you off with some of my ramblings, and thats ok with me. give me the negatives, at least i know you read the post.

holla,

DosDawg

Well I Personally dont think you should be a MODERATOR
( no offence to you )
Because there has been many others who have been with BOONEX for years and theres alot of users who I know of that come first before DOSDAWG or any NEWBIES
____

my 2 cents and thats all

technoman,
your comment is greatly appreciated. but let's look at its contents; you personally don't think i should be a moderator, and i dont find this offensive. you are entitled to your opinion, it has been noted. now let's look at the root of what you say is your logistical reasoning? "because there "HAS BEEN" many others who "HAVE BEEN" with boonex for years, and there are a lot of users who i know that come first before dosdawg or any newbie.

you speak specifically see more in the past tense of those others, have and has, directly tell me the story there. are they still here here presently? i will vote for them to become a moderator myself, if in fact there are "many" who are even interested?

my objective is not to deny any other person any opportunity of becoming a moderator on here. we need as many as we can get. there are many users of this script and each have a different level of knowledge regarding this script, but not only this script but the php langauge or any language for that matter, then couple that with lack of working knowledge of a linux server. we need as many volunteers as we can get to become a moderator. there is no payment involved in being a moderator that i am aware of. i am just looking to help provide direction of those looking for assistance.

but to read a post, and three posts down, somebody has the exact same question, creates a defunct environment on any forum.

BTW are you interested in becoming a moderator or pundit. if so let me know, i will cast my vote for you as well.

as stated in my post on here, postive and negative feedback are greatly welcomed. however, i would like to think this has nothing to do with ones personal opinion, as we all know the hub-bub regarding an opinion, they are like ********, everybody has one. this is not about an opinion, but the absolute necessity of a need for moderators for this forum and blog.

one other thing technoman, i am far from a newbie as you have it termed in your post. i have been dealing with this script for approximately 3 years personally. i see the community has a need, and i am offering my services to those who are in need of them.

Exactally who has been here for years besides boonex employees themselves that are actually active and provide help and have at least basic knowledge of the script that wants to be a moderator?

No offense either, but I don't know any, nor have I seen any that actually no squat or been here long enough that isn't employed by them.

Dosdawg know's his linux $hit and he is one of the more honest legit dudes on here that aren't rambling on about 50 questions that a monkey can figure out or that see more haven't been asked a zillion times.

Yes maybe he can be a little blunt like myself. I tell it like it is. But when something simple that has been asked more times than I can count and I see it again and again, and people get pissed because nobody answers...I do tend to agree with a blunt answer...because you see that little search link? Click it and type upload error, undefined, i/o error, or anything else...and most likely you will get your answer.

I have posted over 400 times in the expertzzz forums for free, I get no kick back nor do I have one of them buttons to donate to me like the pundits do or did. So what's in it for me? I like to play around with things and see what makes them work. I may not always be right, but I do try and it's to help others for the most part.

I have been around since dolphin 5.5 maybe even earlier. I still have dolphin 5.6.002 and 5.6.005 if interested....anyway point is I've been here longer than most and I believe if you are serious and have a desire anyone deserves a the benefit of the doubt. Add some linux and server knowledge and Dosdawg is the man.
