Some enhancements for D7, D8 or Trident. What do you think?

This is not a request. Just a suggestion. I think it will improve the software.

PAGES BLOCKS

As you see in the picture above, it would be great to have an option to show pages blocks to either men or women. This way you can create different blocks which only men will see or only women.

PROFILE FIELDS

As with pages blocks also have the option with profile fields to show only to men or women. Besides that also have a make searchable feature to make field answers selected by members searchable when a profile is viewed. This would be a great asset to the search function.

All underlined answers are linked. When someone clicks on Producer, all members who are producers, will be shown. Clicking on Man, will show all men and so on.

What do you guys/ladies think? Useful or not?

for a social or business not use full.
Better is that country, city only mandatory are in the profiles and not in groups, events, ads, citys. complete nuts. And not that you have to seacht tousend of files to find out how the remove this.

For a dating site this is very usefull

Social or business could use the make searchable feature. For instance you have profile types Accountant, Financial Consultant etc. If I member views a profile of an Accountant, if Account is linked searchable and someone is looking for Accountants they can find all Accountants by clicking the link.

Sounds like something better suited for a custom mod, rather than a built in function.

i think the whole aspect of man/woman male/female should be set as secondary, and get away from the meetup hit the sack kind of environment. social networking is not about man/woman, its about an entirety of the community as a whole socializing.

it has been pushed for quite some time to gear dolphin towards business networking and social networking, and get away from the whole match making match.com environment.

this also seems very limited in its performance, as it would tend to belong to see more some niche environment.

The man/woman male/female should be a field that a site owner can add when he/she wants to. Now it's coded into Dolphin. Leaving this away would give site owners more possibilities to create own genders or profile types which would show in browse or search. Now if you change man/woman male/female or add extra genders it won't show. Will still show man/woman male/female.
