I'd like to be as sure as you... For example, I'm not sure of that they have see that, if position set to bottom, this horrible Floating thing is displaying under the status bar of the browser :-))

The main problem is that they are programmers with a deep and wide knowledge... They don't know (or forgot) about the difficulty to use a Dolphin site for a simple basic Internet user...
Most of Dolphin site potential users will not spend at least one hour to learn about how to use it... Navigation, see more choice of any option, etc... has to be really intuitive.

Intuition and knowledge are not living in the same part of the human brain. Tests made by programmers are good to find bugs, but such tests are not enough. The script has to be tested by people who are just browsing Internet from time to time too.
