RSS Feeds

This is a RSS Feed reader that allows you to grab the RSS feeds from various sites and displays for users to read and use. Many sites display a small icon with the acronyms RSS, XML, or RDF to let you know a feed is available. You can add their RSS feeds to the list of feed for this plugin and setup a schedule to fetch content automatically at a specified time.

This is a full-blown Dolphin module that will display the data in a separate section of your site and group your feeds into categories.


TOP PAGE BLOCK

Administrator can decide to show a Menu of selected Feed Sources at the Top.

Administrator can decide to show a Menu of selected Main Categories at the Top.

These menus are useful if you have many Feed Sources and Categories but want to highlight the major ones.

FEED MAIN PAGE

Quick search block is available.

Feed Post block is available to members who have sufficient permission to post feeds.

Block that Lists all recent imported data.

Block that Lists most popular imported data. This block has Tab options to filter by "Today", "This Week" or "This Month"

Feeds block that lists all active Feeds.

Categories block that lists Categories and Sub-Categories.

Calendar to allow viewing all feed entries imported on a particular date.

Archive block to allow browsing feed entries by past months.


FEED ENTRY VIEW PAGE

Abiltity to Comment and Rate an imported feed entry.

Abiltity to Recommend an imported feed entry (google, facebook, twitter).

Abiltity to add an imported feed entry to favorites. The member an then browse all their favorite feed entries.

Block that lists all related feed entries (other entries with similar tags)


ADDING A FEED

When adding a feed you can set whether it should show in Feed Source Menu at top of page.

Ability to assign feed to Category and Sub-Category.

Ability to add Tags to a feed. When importing the feed, the importer will automatically grab the Tags from the page header or use the manual Tags entered.

Enter number of Feeds to fetch each time.

Ability to append the Source Link to the data imported.

Ability to publish feed now or later.

Option to add a cover photo which is displayed in entries imported for that feed.


CATEGORIES

You can create categories and sub-categories to which you can assign feeds.


MULTI-LANGUAGE

When adding a Feed, Administrator can assign a language to it. Feed entries will then be filtered accordingly when the language switcher is used.


FAVICONS

Automatically extracts the favicons for feed sites and displays the icon in the feed listings.


PERMISSIONS

Administrator can allow certain membership levels to be able to publish RSS feeds also.


ADMINISTRATION

Ability for Administrator to feature certain entries which are then displayed in a Featured block on the main page.

Ability to configure feeds to be imported daily or hourly.
