Date format issue in Dolphin. How to fix it?

Hello,

There is a very known and weird issue in Dolphin that has been discussed since 2009. Till now, there is no solution from Boonex team.

The Date format settings in Settings > Language Settings > Settings, doesn't afftect all areas. The join form and the edit profile form (pop-up calender) are still showing the US/English format: yyyy-mm-dd.

How to show them in a different format like dd-mm-yyyy (in the join form and the edit profile form)? Not all of us are running US or English-based sites.

Here are some very old posts about this issue (from old Dolphin versions). That's why I created a new thread:

Thanks

Hello Boonex Team. Any answer? Thanks

Actually, the default date format in the states is mm-dd-yyyy.  I do know that at one time; and maybe still is, that different date code was used in the database, some being the date and time stored and some being the UNIX timestamp.  That may be why you are seeing some areas differently.

Date format in form inputs isn't changeable, since it's hardcoded in many places.
