Dolphin Tutorial Pay on Join with PayPal

*cough*  It's been a long time since I've posted here at the forums and I've been lurking more than anything.

Much of my work with Dolphin has been fixes and custom mods. My schedule is better than before and I'm putting out some video tutorials so I can remember how I did stuff.

This is something I've gotten a lot of questions about. Pay with PayPal to get a membership. These tutorials show how to use the payment module with PayPal. I wanted to share it to give back to this community since I officially joined back in 2007. I've met a lot of very talented people here and I see many of the original members when the BoonEx community felt a bit like the wild west! lol...Tongue Out

Here's my first set:

I had wondered what happened to you.  I tried to join your site a couple of times but never got the email after requesting an invitation.

Thanks for sharing again, when I first started with Dolphin your tutorials were a big help.  Thank you.

@geek_girl, life happens and it's become the ebb & flow of forums and the internet. To make a long story short, I had to get my health back in order and by doing so I dodged a bullet. No surprise but being in front of a computer 12+ hours a day programming didn't make for good health and my body paid for it. I've now implemented exercise (of all things!) in my daily routine.

As for the joining the site, it's a pay on join. If you still have problems joining let me know. There are many veteran members from the past BoonEx forums that I'll send let through to my site because I know you guys won't turn it into a spam session...lol...so no need to pay on join.

Yes, I have read reports that sitting too many hours per day is bad for one's health.  I find myself sitting too many hours in front of the computer and I am trying to get back to my healthier lifestyle.  I am glad to hear that things are improving for you.

Thank you so much JamesTadeo @jtadeo ! These Vids are very valuable & been waiting to see similar tutorials..

Indeed, do take care of your health, 8hrs a day in front of the tube is more than enough. Walking & exercising is the best way to balance for the time we sit in front of the computers all day. I had similar problems with my back & I actually requested my employer to get me one those adjustable desks similar to this one:  http://tinyurl.com/h8smxgw  -  Believe it or not, they did get me one  Smile  Getting up and taking few minutes breaks helped me a lot..

Cheers,
@AJ

Thanks for the welcome back you guys :D After so many years, at some point we realize that it's the only body we get in this life and we have to take care of it. For me in addition to walking I also started running. I find it really picks up my mood and I work better.

Its difficult to be disciplined and get enough rest especially when you are dealing with clients who are constantly pressing you without any thought for day, night, weekend or holiday but as JTadeo states, your body will force you to go slow at some point in the future and you may not like the result. I have been trying my best to sleep at nights and spend weekends with my family as at the end of the day, only them will be there for you.
