Dolphin Twitter Mod Support (Modzzz) - part 2

Now when I try going to index page I get this:

There is no
/home/bodyartgrafix/bodyartgrafix/inc/classes/BxDolFollowPageView.php

Is that something this mod tried to install because I never had that before.. I looked in the 7.1.1 fresh download files and it is not in there either?

This is because you have not done the following as stated in the readme.txt :

 Upload the files and folders from the 'Tweet_files' folder to your Dolphin root.

I will get back to you later today regarding the other installation issue.

But the mod did not install? why does that need to be uploaded if there is an error and can not be installed? I now uploaded the files and yes the error went away and can now see the page again as a member.. But the mod still can not be installed..

Edit.. I take that back.. The mod i guess tried to install but didn't..Now in my profile I get this:

Fatal error: Call to a member function checkFollowPerm() on a non-object in /home/bodyartgrafix/bodyartgrafix/templates/base/scripts/BxBaseFunctions.php(131) : eval()'d code on line 1

But the mod is not installed? How can I uninstall a mod that is not installed? I need this errors to go away.. I am already getting bitched at because Dreamhost server has been down for 8 hours.. They come back up I put this mod on. and now site is all messed up.. Wish I did not post the site was up..

The Dolphin 7.1 version was missing. Download the zip again and you will see the correct package for Dolphin 7.1.

Ok it installed and can get into profiles now.. But when I go to follow the request or Friends I have I get this now:

I can see the mod on my admin page etc. but after initializing I can't go to site home to view.  When I look at site form guest point of view twitter is now where to be found.  Disappointed to say the least.  I purchased this because I thought it would be ready for Newest Version of Dolphin. 

Just tested it.  With the mod removed everything is working as before.

The mod is functional for the latest version of Dolphin. It makes no sense for the block to be visible to non-members since it only shows postings by the logged-in member and their followers.

I have been trying to contact the developer of Dolphin Twitter for some time with no response as I would like some custom modifications.  Anyone know how to get in contact other than via pm on this site?

That must have been quite a while ago as I do not see any recent messages. Resend the info and I will look at it and let you if it's something I can take on in the near future.

I have the twitter module installed on my site, but, when I click on the "Online Followers" link it takes me to a profile page with a restricted access sign.

But if I click directly under the profile picture I can see the profile with no problems.

Oh Well I got it. There is no viewFollowers.php  page or ,htaccess rule for that.

There must be one file named viewFollowers.php, right?

Looks like you might need to goto administration - Membership levels and make sure they have access..

The mod is not properly installed. Please read the readme.txt that comes with the module and perform all the steps that are outlined. You have missed the step that says "Upload the files and folders from the 'Tweet_files' folder to your Dolphin root". If you have problems installing, you can PM me with your site details for assistance.

I am having an issue with the notifications being sent. The emails are being sent fine, But in the "From:" field it has Mime Version 1.0 From: =?UTF-8?B?blah blah..

Any ideas how I can make the 'From' field say my website name instead?

The module directly calls the sendMail function which is the global function Dolphin uses for sending out mails. Is this issue only isolated to mails coming from the Twitter mod ?

 No, I actually noticed it with my Cron emails too. When I view the emails in Outlook, the From field is blank. When I view from a mobile email, I can see the whole UTF thing.

I love this mod   Thankfully it seems as though all previous bugs and issues that I'm reading about in this thread have been addressed.

Where are these icons located?  I need to add one of my own.

There not located on your site they are at: http://fortawesome.github.com/Font-Awesome/

But if you want to do like I did.. You can make up your own. Put the them in a folder like mine is at images/icons. Then in your icon field there you would put images/icon/|iconname.png

I am unable to edit item Followers to change icon from http://www.YOURDOMAIN.COM/administration/member_menu_compose.php?menu_position=top_extra

Does anyone know why? I am able to edit item on some menu like Admin Panel but not Mail, Followers menu.

Is there another way to change icon? Thanks in advance.

The icon located in the Action block sys_objects_actions.

I think i might need your help, going to explain what the deal is below.

I tried uninstalling the module and it broke the website from loading.  The module changes core files.  I tried reinstalling and you are back to the mess before.

These are the error messages:

If you go to
profile page and look on top you will notice on the menu
this
_modzzz_tweet_menu_followers

Also
            if you go to admin panel>modules>scroll down>you
            will notice the last module displayed like so

Hi there!  Have been loving the product, but there does seem to be a bug.  In a person's profile page, the "What's on your mind" module is supposed to show the previous status updates of that particular person's profile.  Strangely, this shows that particular member's status updates but also updates from other seemingly random profiles.  I am not sure what the connection is with these other random profile status updates. 

Do you know what could be the issue?  Thanks!
