Edit feature for DOLPHIN 7.3.5 timeline?

There is no way for the owner of a post to edit a text post in the timeline in DOLPHIN 7.3.5, out of the box.

It is a simple feature that virtually every social media site has.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why this common feature was never added.

Do you mean "owner of a comment"?

It's very dangerous to allow people to edit comments especially after someone has responded to the comment.

I've never come across a site that allows it and I'm on several.

I don't allow people to comment on the timeline because it's just a snippet of a post on another page. I prefer that they comment on the main page and then everything is in context.

Just my thoughts.

Actually my post here was not about comments.

It is about me posting to my own timeline and me not being able to edit the original post that I posted.

Actually the comments do allow edit.

I'm sure it's not far off, UNA just added it to the timeline module on the last update.

Does this mean that the edit function for the timeline is available in the last update and if I update my site from 7.3.5 I will then have that function on my timeline?

Unfortunately 7.3.5 is the latest version.

There is not update for it at this time that will fix my problem.

Bummer! :(
