Forums Do Not Exist Issue

I installed a fresh install of D7.1 tonight at 7 p.m. EST from Boonex.  However, I cannot access the forum modules.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Forum modules only to receive the following message:

Not Found

The requested URL /grove/forum/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can someone help me resolve this issue?

You need to make sure you are not getting 404 errors with other modules as well. My guess is permalinks are not working. Either you missed uploading the .htaccess file from the dolphin zip file, or your hosts server is not setup with mod_rewrite enabled or apache not properly configured.

Check in dolphin admin under tools and host tools to see if any problems are reported there.

Also see these docs.

I downloaded the Dolphin-v.7.1.0.B1.zipped file intact from Boonex and uploaded it to my server intact, where it was unzipped there with all the files received from Boonex. Undecided I just reloaded the .htaccess and the forums are showing now.

Thank you for the prompt response!

I have actually seen that happen before. For some reason, some cpanals seem to ignore .htaccess files when extracting a archive. I do not know why.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
