Usually the template creator would have put an option for that to be included in the splash page.

I have a template with splash page and you have the option to use RPX or not.

You should be able to grab the code and and edit into your splash.

Do a search of this site, splash pages have been discussed in depth here before.

The RPX integration doesn't seem to be supported here any more - their last comment on that post was nearly a year ago.  Bear in mind also that RPX would be quite expensive if your site ever got to be successful - be sure to carefully look at their pricing if you decide to go that route.

Google authentication and OpenID are two different things.  I would also love to have Google authentication but as far as I know, no one is working on it here.

what do you mean Rob?

It works perfect for 7.1, and is super fast now.

Check out my demo and use the RPX to login.

Yes they do put a limit on the free account, but if your site reaches those levels then you should be making money..

You want one. Then i will see about doing a Google Connect. Been looking at their OAuth 2.0 API's.  Not really sure how much data for creating a dolphin account from those API's can be pulled. I'll see what i can come up with.

Ok. I am working on a Google+ Connect.

I am seriously disappointed with the amount of information google user API provides. Makes for quite an incomplete dolphin profile, but oh well.

Deano, somehow I missed this posts, but I still think allowing people to log in with their Google credentials would be pretty cool.  Even if you can't gather much information from the Google profile I still think it would be nice, as long as the first registration directed to the join form and required fields were still still required, etc.

Already done. http://www.boonex.com/m/deanos-google-connect

It's not openID. It uses the Google oAuth2 API.

You can test it on my site. I do not have the redirect to the dolphin join form enabled on my site, but it's available as a option.

Hi Deanos

Will you be making this plugin 7.3.3. compatible?

Cheers
