How can I highlight membership

I'm ideally looking for a function that will allow people to see their status via an icon or something and then be prompted to upgrade

Getting people to upgrade their membership seems to be a deprecated function.  I need to find ways to highlight people's current status and prompt them to upgrade.  Anyone have any solutions for this?  On their profile page, the membership status is small and not formated nicely at all.

im not sure there are any badges of any sort, however, i know the functionality is called Featured. by featuring a member, you set them apart from the rest of the members.

I am also looking for this feature. I want my site to have Bronze, Silver and Gold membership levels. I think you should be able to tell this just by looking at a person’s avatar in the ''People Search Results''

I am even will to pay if someone will is willing to develop a mod for this. And of course I would release it to the community for free.

Hope to hear from someone soon.

Many thanks

Chris

You have to custom program a badge to appear for the different membership types.  The current badges only show in the member upgrade sections.

I hired a guy to do this. If you check out my site (forgive the css highlights - I haven't styled them yet) http://www.realtychat.com/browse.php you will see how simple/extended look. I'm going to be adding a uniform color highlight and a new icon for each of the levels.

I'm still playing with it now.  Didn't do the forum yet because it is a bit more complicated (hint Alex, let us know how you highlighted the Premium members here). And I'll probably try and get it working on the Members/Featured members blocks on the front page.

The guy that did it for me is here: http://www.ioncoding.com
