How to turn off Facebook Connect Option

Is there a way to turn off the register/login with Facebook option on 7.1?

Did you install facebook connect? If so, uninstall it.

Thank you Deano. The problem is that the Facebook option is shown on the login form regardless if you have Facebook API keys added or not. If you don't set up the API and the user tries to use Facebook from the login form it just gives an error message saying that it isn't configured. It seems that the login form itself always includes the Facebook option whether you set it up or not. I only want people to register for my site with the normal join process, I do not want the Facebook option and having it shown on the login form (even if it won't do anything if the API isn't configured) will just cause confusion for users.

Yes, that's normal. If your going to install it, then you have to configure it. Otherwise there is no point installing it in the first place.

If you do not want it showing, that means you not going to use it. And if your not going to use it, then there is no need to have it installed. So go into admin and to manage modules, and uninstall it.

Thanks again Deano. I didn't even notice that it was a module. I uninstalled it and I'm all set. I think I've been working too long and going blind with tired eyes.
