Google Analytic Code part went over my head. Can you please give me exact instructions? I have been trying at this all day to figure out where it is to go and I am one of those who is so afraid to mess things up.

Edit the file templates\base\_footer.html

Place the code just before the closing </body> tag.

You need to clear your site's cache afterward, or else the changes will not take affect.

Thank you for your quick reply!

I cleared the cache and still is not verified. Google says this: Your meta tag is not in the <head> section of your home page.

I went to Public_html

Templates

Base

footer.html

Should I have place it somewhere else instead??

Thanks sooooooooooooooo much!

I think it would be much easyer to back to google webmaster for your site  and choose the  html option then just upload the file to your site via ftp.

since you have now use your ftp it will be easy now just to save file from google webmaster then upload to your site just put it in your root folder of your site

It will verify right away

Please select a directory to open:

homeb.gifHome Directory
publichtml.pngWeb Root (public_html)
publicftp.pngPublic Ftp Root (public_ftp)
dirselection.pngDocument Root For:

So I go to Public FTP Root and upload the file from Google to Public_FTP Incoming? Or no?

public_html is where it should be placed. Where your dolphin site is located.
