Hi,

try this:

Step 1):

Login into your admin panel and go to Settings -> Membership Levels

Then deactivate the checkbox "Enable promotional membership" and click save!

Step 2)

Go to Settings -> Moderation Settings

Then disable the checkbox "Automatic profile confirmation without Confirmation Email".

Maybe it helps.

Best regards

Send to you or to the member?

If its not being sent to the member have them check their spam filter, there is an issue where the automated messages from Dolphin7 resemble spam and it may be in there.

I have done this as was suggested below. I only had to uncheck promotion membership.

When a user joins admin get a email "New User confirmed"

New user tester with email cron@lworld.com.au has been confirmed, his/her ID is 50. -- LWORLD The Official Australian Lesbian Social Network mail delivery system Auto-generated e-mail, please, do not reply

User gets an email "Confirm your profile" blah blah with a link in it and activation code.

User clicks link.

Admin gets another email "New user confirmed"

New user tester with email cron@lworld.com.au has been confirmed, his/her ID is 50. -- LWORLD The Official Australian Lesbian Social Network mail delivery system

Admin goes and checks box next to profile, clicks activate.

That is it. no confirmation they don't know its been activated.

Any ideas. cause I've no idea lol.

Same problem here ... IS THIS A BUG ???

No matter which settings I've tried, the admin always receives a message that a new user with email and ID has been activated ... but the new member never receives any confirmation mail or notice from the system.

I checked all of the pertinent email templates too, and all of them contain viable text for a member to be able to read. This is really strange and it needs to be fixed asap so that new members receive their mails from the system. Nothing in spam folders/trash either ...
