Quick help finding where a login redirect is

I have a redirect after login but i cant find where it is.

right now when members logon you see the address bar going to mysite.com/member.php and immediately redirecting to mysite.com (Home) i thought I had it in cpanel redirects but it does not show any... I tried replacing memeber.php with a fresh copy but get the same thing..

where can i look.

Redirects are done on login. member.php handles logins, so it's the only place i know of that would have it.

Unless your logging in via facebook connect which may have it's own settings depending on whos version your using.

Are you using a mod from the market?

or something else.

Redirects could also be handled through a logon alert within a module designed to do that. But without knowing the module that would not be easy to find.

yes i have your free mod but in it is showing member.php and looking at the browser bar it tries to but something redirects it to home...

i tried replacing member.php with a fresh copy but no luck... Now it tries to direct to account but gets redirected to home still....

My mod is in member.php.

If your replacing your member.php with a fresh one, then it removes my mod. You you need to verify you have actually replaced it.

Clear your cache.

If you have actually replaced member.php then you have something else interfering with the default redirect that is in member.php

Yes something must be interfering with the default redirect but i have no idea what or where :/ 

I wander if it got stuck while doing the upgrade from 7.0.9

Not unless you were using a different redirect mod that is not in member.php.

Because once you replace member.php it would not matter. Any redirect mod that uses member.php would be wiped out when its replaced.

Ok got it, what ever redirect i have i got from here so let me keep searching to see what other files are possible to place a redirect besides member.php

Spent over an hour and still dont get it, if anyone has any idea what other file to replace besides member.php please let me know... Tky

Making some progress, i tried to log in via join.php and it redirected fine to member.php as it should.

but when i try to log on via the popup on the home screen it tries to redirect but it gets sent back to the home screen.

maybe this gives you an idea as to where that crazy redirect is hidden.
