Ok so here is the deal. I am attempting to change the font color, block content, link color, etc... When i go to studio then click on Protean app, admin is redirected to the area in which he or she can change font colors, etc... For some reason i am not able to click in the fields that have the default settings. Attached is a photo of the fields. I don't know if there is something else that i need to click on or change so that i can customize all those fields.

First off, I always turn off a few cache items to check. The following three I turned off.

I have logged in and same for me on Pale Moon; derivative of FireFox. Everything is greyed out. Is there a switch somewhere else that must be activated first; some style locking switch? Geeks, making the world a better place |

I see the problem. The "Neat Mix" has been selected in the Protean template. If your going to edit the template, you need to make the changes and then save the "mix;" using those "mixes" will allow several pages to use different looks relating to the mix selected. Interesting now that I've looked further, my site does the same.
I cannot edit any of the Protean template styles on my site either. I did it a while back but haven't messed with that since.

Ok, for those that would like to customize text, background, links, etc.... Go to studio>click settings app>then scroll all the way down and you'll see the 2 templates, Protean & Ocean. Choose the one you want and you'll notice Header, Body and all the goodies, choose one and have fun! Everyday is a new beginning. |

Default and Neat mixes are not editable. If you want to change something, you need to create own mix as a copy of existing and then make changes there. It's not advisable to make changes using Settings App since this is bug that mix is editable there: Rules → http://www.boonex.com/terms |
