Did this happen after the upgrade to 7.0.1 or is this "all the sudden"? If after the upgrade, you might want to double check your permissions of the necessary directories. I believe they reset after the upgrade.

Which directories are you refering to?  I am having the same issue since the upgrade.

/flash/modules/video/files/

should be 777

Perhaps if people properly followed the manual part of the upgrade process shown at the end of the upgrade (WHICH INCLUDES PERMISSION SETTINGS) people would have less problems.

All these problems i see posted that apparently occurred after update to 7.0.2. I tried to reproduce most of them, and could not. Everything i tested works.

If this is true, why I have all permissions correct and video gives only one error by embedding. This is a fresh 7.0.2 install. On my other 7.0.1 there is no problem at all.

Was it Server I/O Error?

Quote · 19 Jun 2010

There can be other reasons as well. One of the common causes of problems is corrupted files when things are uploaded to the server.

I mention this one specifically because it is one that boonex can eliminate. Dolphin should have a built-in system that downloads and installs patch files automatically. Of course that creates another server requirement where PHP must support FTP(Which is does on most servers). But an automated system would eliminate a number of common problems.

Nah, I haen't upgraded to .02 yet.  last upgrade I did was from .0 to .1, and this is the first time I have tried to do anything but embed videos.  Now my host is able to upload videos, but I still cannot...  May be an issue with the video file itself.
