top is ie8, bottom is ff.

IE8 is still the most common used browser. Believe it's because companies don't upgrade as often as normal users.

So even if it's not 'hip', consideration needs to be taken.

Prolaznik, are you in IE8 also having the problem with editing a Blog, Articles in IE8.

1) You create a blog or article.

2) You update it once and things look fine.

3) If you try to edit it a second time then you are shown the very first original text and have lost your first edit.

Wondering if this is a general problem for IE8 users?

I have no problem with youtube video in IE8

 I think this is common problem in IE8, this is how cache works in IE8

 i get the same results on demo.boonex  just a blank screen, i'll try and reset settings in i.e  i know i don't have any add-ons or anything

 Still, can't reproduce it on IE8 + WinXP. Maybe someone else can reproduce it ?

No luck here, even after resetting ie's settings i still get the blank page. Very strange since it works fine on 7.0.9

Verification please anyone out there?....

Thing that is f.... with my mind is i also have a 7..0.9 install and the video plays fine

ahh ok.. It appears that you are having an issue with the html5 player.

Turn off the HTML5 player in your dolphin admin and see if that resolves the problem. My  thoughts are that your version of IE is not supporting html5

already tried that, embedded youtube videos don't use the html5 player  if you look at the second screenshot it's demo.boonex.com
Alex says he can view the video via ie.8 i can't i don't think it's anything on my end since it works fine in 7.09.

all i am asking for is verification someone to visit http://demo.boonex.com/m/videos/home/ via ie.8 and see if they can watch the videos.

Are you using Cloudflare? I had it go blank when I first starting using it and not everytime. Then I set-up a rule for ffmpeg.exe.  Not sure if it is related - but it solved it for me.  Could just have been luck.  

And to help verify the demo on Boonex.  The video worked using IE8.
